About The Event

Join us for a FREE Grow Your Own workshop focusing on Spicy Salads with Leafy Greens grown at high elevation taught by Master Gardener, Alison Toy.  We will be hosting both a virtual and in-person workshop on different dates.  Attend one or both, either way it's FREE!

As many of us know, high elevation gardening is tricky!  Enjoy instruction from an expert who will cover planting, harvesting, pest management, river/lake friendly gardening techniques, biology discussions, and information on the history of this group of food crops.

You MUST pre-register for the workshop by reserving a ticket below. If you are unable to attend a live workshop you can still register to purchase starter plants.  The virtual workshop will be recorded and posted on this site to watch at a later time.  The in-person workshop will be held at the Slow Food Lake Tahoe Gardens located in the Truckee River Regional…
