About The Event
The UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe are pleased to offer a FREE workshop on growing fall planted garlic. Participants will have the opportunity to receive free bulbs and cloves for their own garden while participating in a Master Gardener study to help identify successful varieties for the Truckee/Tahoe climate. In addition to providing plant materials the workshop will cover planting techniques, and discussion on the biology and history of this ancient food crop.
