UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe will be providing informative hands-on demonstrations and will be available to answer all your questions about what grows best in our region. They will cover topics such as plant selection, soil preparation, watershed friendly practices, and pest control.  Additional demonstrations and vendors will be exhibiting container gardens, raised garden beds, compost, and more.

For those looking for inspiration, you can tour the gardens at each location to get ideas for your own garden or, chat with various vendors about the best gardening pratcices for our area.  FREE kids activities will be available to inspire the little ones too.  And, learn about volunteer opportunities that help you learn as you grow!

The Grow-Your-Own Gardening Festival is a must-attend event for anyone interested in edible gardening or simply looking for a fun and educational day out. All-ages are welcome at these family friendly events. Come join us and be inspired with new skills to create your own edible garden in our high elevation community.
