Edible Garden Tour

Get inspired by high elevation edible gardens of all shapes and sizes.  We'll begin in the Glenshire neighborhood and then proceed, caravan style, to a variety of home gardens and end at the Slow Food Gardens for light refreshments.  Participants will leave with ideas for their own garden space and resources to get started.  Bring a friend, meet some inspiring gardeners with all levels of skill, and join us on this adventure through town!

9:00am - Meet at Farmer Joe's Garden (address will be emailed to registered participants)

10:15am - Caravan to garden  #2 in Glenshire 

11:30am - Caravan to garden #3 in Glenshire

12:45pm - Caravan to garden #4  in Glenshire 

1:15pm - Caravan to the Slow Food Gardens in the Truckee River Regional Park (behind the baseball fields) where we will finish up the tour with light refreshments.

No dogs on the tour please.  Bring a water, hat, sunscreen, and be prepared to walk on uneven ground.  Parking at some locations will be limited, carpooling is encouraged.

Please select the number of tickets according to the number of people in your group. Tickets are $15/person, additional donations are appreciated to help support scholarship ticket options and future educational garden tours for kid's camps and schools.
