Edible Garden Tour

Get inspired by high elevation edible gardens of all shapes and sizes.  We'll begin at the SFLT Food Bank Garden and then proceed, caravan style, to a variety of Truckee home gardens.  Participants will leave with ideas for their own garden space and resources to get started.  Bring a friend, meet some inspiring gardeners with all levels of skill, and join us on this adventure through town!

9:00am - Meet at the SFLT Food Bank Garden, located behind the baseball fields in the Truckee River Regional Park (10500 Brockway Rd, Truckee)

10:15am - Caravan to garden  #2 in Alder Creek

11:30am - Caravan to garden #3 in Glenshire

12:45pm - Caravan to garden #4  in Glenshire where we will finish up the tour with cold drinks.

No dogs on the tour please.  Parking at some locations will be limited, carpooling is encouraged.

Please select the number of tickets according to the number of people in your group. Tickets are $10/person, additional donations are appreciated to help support scholarship ticket options and future educational garden tours for kid's camps and schools.
