Chef's Market Tour

Mark Estee, Executive Chef of Moody's Bistro & Baxters Bistro along with Gary Romano from Sierra Valley Farms will join together to take you through a "chef's tour of the market" during the Tahoe City Foothill Farmer's Market. The focus will be on how to successfully build a relationship between farmers and chefs/restaurants. Then, Steve Frisch, president of Sierra Business Council will talk about how food systems can help sustain local living economies, and share his experiences purchasing "value added" products for his former restaurant, The Passage. Cold drinks will be provided; no charge
