We have partnered with the UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe to offer a series of gardening classes in spring and fall. In exchange for your follow-up regarding your cultivar's success at high altitude, you will be given multiple FREE cultivars of each type of plant, instructions on planting, as well as a history lesson about each particular plant. All classes will be held at the Demonstration Garden.
If you'd like to teach or host an event at the Garden, email us with your ideas!
Volunteers will work together during the "Dig In" to build and refurbish beds, prune, weed, plant, transplant, put netting on fruit trees, paint and so much more. No experience is required to volunteer - learn as you go! Come for a few hours (or more), meet people who are interested in good, clean and fair food systems, have some fun and support YOUR community garden.
